Do you see the crowd? They're cheering; they're cheering for us.
Confetti adrift in the sky, a vast array of colours, glinting in the sunlight. Our hands clasped tightly together, but quivering nonetheless.
It wasn't anything spectacular. I'm not even sure if you felt it, that breathtaking gust of wind as the spear went straight through it's heart. I did. It was accompanied by a deafening roar resonating through the town, it's indignation ricocheting off every carmine brick.
The arid earth trembled as it's Goliath frame as it crumbled to the ground. I felt it.
The wind stopped all too abruptly, leaving only us two and our awestruck expressions, gawking at something that was no longer there. The corner of your lips turned upwards as you slowly exhaled. We both knew: it was over.
Before us now is a celebration. Champagne bottles are popping, the townsmen are dancing.
I watch you, mentally probing you.
And you unveil happiness.

Inspired by Taylor Swift's Long Live to write a short double entendre.
I think it turned out pretty well. (:
