It's been a while eh?

It's been a while since I've last written, written not as in the arid updating of what's going on in my life. It's been a long while since I've written (or to be more literal, typed) something that actually captures the entire essence of writing itself.

It isn't a secret that ever since I've entered JC, my English has been subjected to decadence. There hardly is any time, or even any room to let it flourish; even GP is stifling to the author. Or perhaps it's just me, disconsolately conjuring up excuses for the lack of prominence of my language.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering what triggered such an earnest, almost sombre post, let me lay it right out:
These 'genre' posts appear mostly after I've read blogs with way better English than mine. Blogs with beautiful language. Even posts about what went on during the writer's day could create something so picturesque.

It isn't all the time I chance upon such precious sites, and to be honest, I'd get hit with the slightest twinge of jealousy, followed by an inclination to blog. To convince myself I'm still there.

Naw, but who am I kidding.

Anyway, this post wasn't meant to be melancholic in any way, it's just the result of another one of my whimsical 'practice sessions'.

Here comes aforementioned arid updating of what's going on in my life. HAHA.

School life in TPJC has been nothing short of a blast. I'm so thankful for this bunch of friends, that to be honest, I used to think were more of 'on the surface'. But now I'm starting to see past Surface, and it's actually rather stirring.

And because of them a part of me, even if it's just the smallest part, looks forward to school every day, regardless of the degree of dread that comes with uncompleted homework or just the sheer dislike for a subject.

And another thing to be very grateful for, a blessing; I've never felt quite this safe before, because the past one was riddled with uncertainties and distrust and all that trite.

And for Jav, a belated birthday shoutout: I REALLY WANTED TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU, LET'S DO IT SERIOUSLY. For Vel, a belated happy national day birthday to you too by the way, should you be reading this. (:

Also, yet again I am reminded that people change with authority.
Some for the better, most for the worse. Gotta knock that into my numbskull and let it stick there and stop my whining.

One last thing, I've gotten a twitter account! :D
YAYYY One more social networking avenue to distract me from studies and homework and the drag that JC students should be doing, casually labelled as 'JC life'. Hahaha life. The irony.

Okay I'm off to live my life now. In Chinese.
