OH YAY ANOTHER BLOG POST! (finally)

It's getting harder and harder to blog now, since the intervals between each post is getting longer and longer omgz.

I don't know where to start because of my amazing memory (or lack thereof).

CHOIR SYF 2011.

It was one heck of an experience, that being said 'heck' actually has a positive meaning, but since I am the lazy pig I am, I'm not gonna bother to put 'heck' into words that actually describe how I feel about SYF.

We got a silver; that's what the judges gave us all right, but TPJChoir's a gold with extra honours one to me. [love]

ANYWAY HERE'S HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN ON WEDNESDAY, 4TH MAY 2011.

We reported to school at usual time, except no assembly for us, it was straight to the choir room we went.

Had our makeup done, encouraging talks and received texts by the teachers, seniors and alumni, before we set off for Pomo!

We had warmups in the bus, which was a lil' weird cuz we weren't standing up (we couldn't), so I felt as if my diaphragm wasn't fully stretched and all. :/

Met Ms Ong at some studio (which I infer is made for kindergardeners 'cause of the vibrant paintings of rainbows, trees, bees and the like on the walls etc.), where we had practice.

LUNCH + MORE MAKEUP + CHANGED INTO OUR PWETTY GOWNS, MORE PRACTICE.

Afterwards we went down (or more of rushed down, since we were late) to SOTA; thank goodness SOTA is just beside Pomo.

REGISTRATION + ACOUSTIC TESTING... SYF.

When the doors opened for us to step on stage, it was amazing.
It was exhilarating, nerve wrecking , breath taking (thank God not heart stopping).. just amazing.
The view from the stage was awesome.

I had to remind myself how to breath (as in, breath correctly, choir style *wink*)

We did our three pieces, I felt that my vocal range was reduced due to nerves and my high notes weren't as good as they should've been (sorry choir).

After our performance, we stayed to watch RVH's and AJC's before we went back to Pomo to collect out belongings and returned to TPJ.

Awaited the results back at school, after being dissapointed at the silver, pigged (majorly) on ice cream! ( ♥, Thanks for everything.)

SPORTS DAY. WAS... FUN. (betcha thought I was gonna say AWESOME)

Anyway, spent most of the time on the bleachers cheering for Lixuan, Hannah,Thurga and Huixin (who cares if y'all didn't win, you guys were awesome, and you ran glamorously)

WENT OFF TO PLAY VBALL WITH ALSON, HANNAH AND VINCENT.

WOOHOO I THINK I REDEEMED MYSELF AND I AM LESS NOOB IN ALSON'S EYES NOW. :D

VBALL WAS FUN SHIZ I FINALLY HAD MY VBALL FIX OKAY! *happygirl*

AND THEN MET UP WITH KEN JAV CHU, VBALL + LOADS OF CATCHING UP WITH JAV (cause Ken and Chu had to leave.

TODAY WAS GPP DAY (urgh how much I dislike PW)

LX, Hannah, Minhui & Aliyah came over.

IT WAS PRETTY MUNDANE AND BORING PW.. UNTIL WE PIGGED OUT (again) ON HAAGEN DAZS (& decided to camwhore to show off our crazy good fortune). By then Minhui and Aliyah had ardy left.

Side note: Growing really fat. Ice cream has been mentioned thrice in this post alone. Must stop eating ice cream.
